I think this is a wonderful thing you are doing. Here in Houston I work with groups that volunteer their time training shelter dogs so they can find permanent homes more easily. The rescue groups and shelters are in a similar situation here because of the economy too. Let's hope there is relief in sight.

it is so true that cats love their routines. Changing something as simple as where they are fed or where their litter box is located throws them for a loop. They almost look at you and say "why'd you do that!" :)

Thank you for following my blog. My goal is to do it weekly, let's hope I can reach that or set a more realistic one. Your pom is adorable. Is there any topics you would like for me to write about? I don't know a lot about blogging etc. and am in the learning stages.

Have a great week!

Good tips!

During the winter, we always put on a warm winter coat on our pomeranian. Actually, there's a picture of her with it on at my blog at blogger31.wordpress.com

I'm glad to see you really care about animals all year round!:D Actually, last year during the winter, I was with my friends, and I noticed a cat underneath a car! It was meowing, so we quickly ran over to it. It wouldn't move, and that's when we noticed it's tail was frozen to the ground!! My friends and I quickly ran to my house and we got our Mom to call the animal help people, and they shortly came to the car and they were able to save it! The cat's belly was bare and was frostbitten and red.

We called them up about a week later to see how the cat was doing, and they said it was doing perfectly fine and it was just recovering. It was such a darling cat too. It was one of those multicolour cats.

Anyways, hopefully your tips will teach owners to make sure that won't happen. :)
